Ljus ganska klar utan skum. Luktar syrligt, lite stall. Sur och lättdrucket. Lite tam

Bottle 750ml. Pours hazy blond with low white head. Minimal to no lacing. Aroma is of fruits, citrus. Taste is of fruits, acid. Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation. Overall: Good, a tad too light and forgettable.

Bottle (750 ml) shared at tasting. From hackobock, thanks! Hazy yellow with with a small quickly diminishing white head leaving not much lacing. Aroma is of lemon, Saison yeast, mild farmhouse notes, oak spiciness and cheesy notes. Taste is fresh and built around a lemony profile nicely completed by oak spiciness, cheesy notes, a rather strong floral presence and herbal brettanomyces. Medium body. Very sofy carbonation. Oaky mouthfeel. Lemony finish. Very easy drinking and quenching. The Saison character isn’t upfront, but at least it’s not completely hidden. Nice lemony profile. Very good!

Pours a hazy golden with a small white rim on top that leaves low lacing. Nose is of cider, fruits and oak. Taste is also cidery, lightly tart and oaky. Dry and light. Interesting. Moderate body and moderately high carbonation. Overall a fair brett saison, I need to rerate sometimes with a fresher palate.

Bouteille 750ml, bottle share.

pours hazy/cloudy very light golden with a small white cap offering minimal retention and lacing. citrus and flowers, light woodsiness, rustic grains, some cheese, some fruity zseisawn yeast, salt. moderate carbonation - could definitely be brighter; light body; relatively dry citrusy finish. simple but nice BA saison.

750ml bottle of the 3.6%abv version. Hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of brett, funk, saison yeast, grains, citrus, hay and straw. Taste is acidic with funk, citrus, minerals and slight barnyard. Medium mouthfeel, medium to low carbonation and low-medium bitterness.

We actually had the older with 4,5% ABV and the new version at 3,6%. They don’t differ much even after a few years of storing. This is a good typical beer from Brekeriet with a classic feel. Easy to drink with some acid and citrus on top of green apples. It’s not Brillant but brilliant.
