Smooth sour saison. Too forgiving for me but a nice sour saison nonetheless. Perfect after a sauna-session!

Bottle @ GT’s Cat Cabana. Hazed golden pour with white head. Some bread, apple, and pear on the nose. Decently spicy and a bit of lime and orange zest. Nice nose. Flavor is a bit on the musty side, but there is a good citric tartness. Some crisp green apple and baked pear. A little bit of yeast and some bready sweetness.

>> Glowing neon green straw pour, weak white foam. Nose is fresh lime, pomelo, honeysuckle, white wine barrel, sweet cream butter. Taste is lightly sour, tart lime and pomelo, white grapefruit, clean white biscuit, fluffy mouthfeel. Refreshing and very good. One of my favorites of the night.

Tap @ Fermentoren. Pours hazy bright golden with an off white head. First off - this could easily be a gueuze die to the smell. Although it does have more grainy notes which points it towards a saison, especially when it gets a little heat. Anyhow: lots of sour and funky Brett, new leather, barnyard, vinegar, grainy wheat and some hay/straw. The taste is sour and has a fruity quality to it as well. I get gooseberries, vinegar, hay, green grapes and some barnyard. Also some moldy oak, a champagne(ish) quality and weak grainy notes here as well. Very nice "sour saison" .

Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours clear, light, golden yellow with a small, short lasting white head. Aroma is hay, sour, wheat and wheatish fruityness. Leather, dry champagne, slight vinegar and some unripe grapes. Taste has a nice grainy sourness, that is balanced by sweet wheat fruity flavors. Medium carb.

Tap @ Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma presents with a fresh and clean acidity, tart apples, a bit of funk and a modest earthy tint. Taste is also quite clean and delicious, not overly complex but with a fresh sticky tartness. Not much carbonation but it remains fresh nonetheless. Quite long duration, as the tart palate sticks around. Quite nice!
