Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, 1 December 2009. Attractive dark copper colour but not a lot of condition. Some caramel in the aroma. Quite earthy. A decent, if unexceptional, ESB. Quite well balanced.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Chestnut colour with no real head. Decent premium bitter, good malts, ok hop, bit of pepper on finish. It’s a good enough bitter.
