Cask, gravity at Pigs Ear Beer Festival, Hackney, London, 06.12.11 Pours dark brown, quite woody, little dry and roasty, some nuttiness showing, pleasant enough but a bit thin and lacks depth. Thanks to Ken for sharing a little of his beer. A6 A4 A6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, London. Near black. Aroma of coffee and blackberries. Mid dry with medium body. Roasty with tobacco and nutty caramel, slight tartness. Mild salty finish.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some roasted malts, mild nuttyness as well as some slight floral notes. Flavour is liquorice, mild ashes, some roasted malts, toffee and mild nuttyness.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2011, London. Pours dark brown with a foamy, tan head. Dark malt aroma with notes of berries and other fruits. Lightly sweet flavor with faint roast and light cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Faint dry finish with light sweetness and mild cocoa. Not bad.
