COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional - year round but not permanent.
A wonderfully satisfying, complex dark ale loaded with chocolate malt and oranges for that extra pizzazz! This beer is rich, devilishly moreish and great with red meat, cheese, Christmas cake and classical music.

Kings Arms, Upnor. A very sweet and strong ale with melted chocolate and walnuts. A little heavy for a hot summer’s afternoon, this is more of a winter sipping ale. Smoky, leathery, coffee (camp coffee - sweet and artificial). Drinkable.

A nice take on the chocolate christmas orange. Orange and chocolate aromas, with a sweet flavour. Dark and creamy. Good.

Bottle @ Beer, Bocce and Boozer tasting. Chestnut brown color with a small off-white head. The nose is brown sugar, nuts, sweet syrup. The taste is sugary, notes of sweet fruits and dark chocolate. Light nuts on the finish. Medium bodied. Overall, a pretty decent beer.

Bottle at the Beer, Bocce and Boozer tasting, London. Pours red-black-brown with a fine, tan head. Dusty cocoa in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, light cocoa, light roast, some faintly tangy dark malts. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light dryness in the finish with dark malts, mild tang, dusty cocoa. Not getting any orange notes, really. Nice enough beer overall, though.

Bottle from Ales By Mail, Great beer packed full of flavour. Deep dark colour, lovely chocolate after taste with the oranges up the front and plenty of body. Brewed with whole oranges and zest, unlike previous reviews have stated.

Cloudy dark brown beer. Low carbonation. Sour start with subtle chocolate and orange tones. A little bit of roasted malt underneath. A little soft hop in the finish. Kinda works bit some more carbonation would have helped. Brewed with orange zest.
