Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Clear amber color, full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, lightly toffee and a hint of caramel. Taste malts, lightly some caramel, nicely bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Amber, average and fully diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel and light toffee with faint roasted malt, light hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and light toffee with light notes of wood, light hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light notes of wood, light - some grassy hoppyness. OK bitterness but too much caramel for me.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden deep brown to amber, lasting, off white and dense head. Aroma is mild grassy, toasted malty and slight caramelish. Breadish, light caramelish and liqourice. Bitter, slight metallic and somewhat sweet. Long far bitter finish, much like coffee from Costa Rica...

Deep red-brown with a lasting ivory head. Fresh hoppy malty nose, earthy hops, toasted marmalade, touches of toffee and treacle. Lovely...

Bottled (from Ales By Mail). Amber colour, mediumsized beige foamy head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is floral and wooden hops along with some nutty and caramelly notes. Flavour is caramel malts, some floral and wooden hops with mild resin and some berries as well. Also has a quite crisp maltyness to it. Balanced and rather pleasant.

Cask @ some JDW in Walthamstow. The pour’s medium brown with a tiny head. The nose is sugared wood, some general caramel malts, twigs. The taste is much the same. Sweet, matlty flavors. A bit of brown bread and grass. Light body. Very simple. Overall, OK.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber to brown with clean white head. Aroma is malty biscuit and a little varnished wood. Light and slightly fizzy on the palate. Quite a musty bitterness with a hint of caramel becomming a dry fizzy finish which makes the tongue tingle.
