Deep red, yellowish head, quite persistent for baltic porter. Aroma sulphur, sweet malt, caramel, some phenols. Taste: very sweet, abit alcoholic, phenolic astringency, with popsicle stick bitterness. Typical unbalanced baltic porter from belarus, boozy and sugary with unpleasant bitterness

Sweet stout with a bit of roast and with a bit of barrel notes. Nothing special really.

Bottle, first Belorussian porter for me. red brown color, light creamy head. Typical baltic porter, little bit sweet for me. Drinkable.

From my friend Natasha, who purchased this in Russia: Pours a dark brown with a quickly dissipating beige head. Aroma is bubblegum, dark fruitiness, and sugar. Taste is really on the sweet side of porters. Roasted malt flavors are definitely really restrained. Tastes very similar to a doppelbock in my opinion, but alas not one of the creme de la creme doppelbocks. Still, a good first beer from Belarus.

Bottle: Deep amber coloured, stable mid-sized tanned head with a little lace; almost complex bitter-sweet nose: dried fruits, nuts, leather, ashes and roasted malt in the nose; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; becomes drier towards the malty-fruity-leathery finish. A fine brew.....

(bottle) Clear, dark rown colour with a ruby shine and a beige medium-sized and stable foamy head. Sweet and moderately roasted malty aroma with a touch of caramel, leather, as well as ashy, dried fruity and spicy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Roasty malty and dried fruity taste with leather, liquorice and mildly spicy notes; bitter-sweet roasty and slightly vinous fruity finish with well-embedded alcoholic notes. Classical Porter. 20.IV.11
