Bottle 33cl. Hazy to cloudy straw color, a lot of bubbles, small frothy white head, good retention and lacing; fruity nose, rich aroma of apricot, tropical fruits, orange peel, wheat, yeasty, coriander, lemon grass, taste is light sweet, medium bitter, wheaty, fruity; medium to full body, oily texture, lively carbonation; mild bittersweet finish, fruity notes, alcohol well-hidden. Nice and tasty, not a middle of the road tripel.

Bottle split at ChrisO tasting, London. It pours a clean golden color with medium white head. Aroma is doughy, sweet with caramel, starch, light veggies. Taste has more unfinished notes of starch, veggies, caramel and toffee. Medium bodied with ok carbonation. Yet another very bad tripel at this tasting, wow

Tap @ Ledig Erf, medium sample. Clear golden color, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, slight peppery, bit flowery hop. Soft bitterness, spicy, bit dry. Easy going tripel. Decent stuff.

Tap at WVHNB. Clear golden with big white head. Lots of peach, milk, orange, yeasty, red apple. Very fruity for a tripel, with some fresh herbs. Medium sweet with very light bitter finish. Medium bodied with creamy feel. Nice. Thanks to the very drunk brewer :)

Classic tripel aroma, so fruity - light, and a little perfumey, kinda reminds me of Karmeliet, I guess, but maybe the esters are a bit more appley. That’s deceiving, though, as in the mouth they are nothing like. This has a lovely toasty and flapjacky sweet light roastedness. Lovely palate, has the balance between a full unfiltered malty sweet feel and a light crisply-hopped pleasantly-carbonated refreshing feel. Pleasantly drying bitter hops, leaves a bit of a resiny dryness on the tongue. Perfumey hops stay in the long finish, with some slightly wheaty light grains. Lovely tripel.

Opaque copper-coloured beer with a creamy head and good carbonation. Smell is banana apple pear and white pepper. Malty with some leather, citrus and coriander. Salty peppery taste with a nice bitterness. Lightly alcoholic. Nice classic triple with some German influence.

(Draught at De Drie Dorstige Herten, Utrecht, 26 Feb 2015) Golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit and pineapple. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, pineapple, spices, coriander, peaches and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Well made and tasty tripel. Nice one.

Drinking from tab. In the aroma grains, citrus, peaches and alcohol. The clear, golden beer has a medium white head. Sweet, honey in the taste. High carbonated

Bottle shared at Chriso’s mid-week lasting 03/07/14. Hazed golden coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is sweet grains, alcohol, belgian yeast, some solvent. Palate is nice effervescent, tingling carbonation. Flavour is sweet, malts, biscuit and berry / fruity yeast esters. Touch of honey, not terrible.
