75cl, at 7.3%Vol, new exclusive Dutch brew Anno 2011, from De Bierkoning Amsterdam, complex brew, spicy and sweet, yet not too heavy, balanced, hazy, small head, good Winter brew

Sampled @ PINT Winterbierfestival, Gouda 2012. Clear brownish amber color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell malts, sweet, slightly burned and clearly saaz-hop. Taste sweet, malts, slightly burned. Bit watery texture. Average to low carbonation, low to medium body.

75 cl bottle @ home. Dark brown-red color, beige head. Aroma’s are sweet, sweet spices (anise, cinnamon), orange peel. Flavor is medium sweet, with spices. Medium bodied. Finishes with more spiciness and a mild bitterness. Nice winterbrew, but could have done with a bit less spices.
