Bottle: Poured a clear copper color ale with an off-white head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma consists of nice peachy fruity ester with light alcoholic phenols. Taste is a mix between some quite enjoyable fruity ester and some medium sweet malt. Body is a bit thin with some average carbonation and light alcoholic notes thought I have a hard time believing this beer to be 11% ABV. By no mean is this a great beer or something that I will buy again but by far not the worst from this brewery.

Might’ve had an infected beer, but it was pretty nasty. Typical Trappist yeasts in the nose but the flavour was very dry, minerally, chalky, sweaty with some nasty raw yeast notes. Kind of sour.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of HogTownHarry. Oh boy, a "Grand Cru" from Breughel. Sigh. Pours a hazy copper-orange with a large lasting off-white head. Mild aroma of yeast, spices, faint hops and some sugary sweetness. Can’t detect any alcohol. Flavour of malt, spices, yeast and fruit with a somewhat unpleasant boozy finish. Average bodied. This is much better then all of the other Breughel beers we had tonight but it’s still not very good.
