2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Small white head. malt and some raspberry in the aroma. Watery, doesn’t taste a lot what it should taste, either beer or rasbberry. Refreshing but not much....

on tap at brewpub. hazy light pinkish with a nice white head, some retention, no lacing. fresh raspberries, decent cereals, some wheat, hint of acidity, touch of yeast mustiness. average carbonation, some fizz, light body - quenching. decent lightly acidic and herbal finish. not a fan of the style - still is the best one i’ve had out seven of their brews - all drank at brewpub.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Carbonisation moyenne. Arrière goût de framboise. (Rating #100)

Clear golden color with nice head. Raspberry aroma. Taste is mostly raspberry with a good carbonation, not bad but thin.
Bière de couleur deré clair avec une bonne mousse. Odeur de framboise. Au goût, c’est pas mal la framboise avec une bonne dose de co2. Pas nmauvaise mais un peu mince.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2007 draft & bottle. had a glass at this beautiful little brewery in the gaspesie and enjoyed it very much. it poured a golden orange and had a nice foamy white head. the taste was a light bitter mixed with an acidic and tart raspberry. fairly watery palate and a slight mineral edge but i enjoyed the taste enough to grab a bottle. unfortunately the bottled batch proved miserable. i don’t know if the brew master forgot to sample the run before bottling but our was horribly soured. tasted like vinegar and pickles. couldn’t even make it through a glass. now, the brew has received some harsh reviews and with my mixed experience i don’t know whether to decent or add to the trash talk. either way, sampling this brew is a gamble.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden poor with reddish hue. Thin off-white head. Aromas of rhubarb, raspberries, unripened bananas and coriander... lightly acidic aromas. Very fad non sweet flavors. Somewhat fad bitterness as well... far from being a "true" gueuze. If you class it as a fruit beer, you’d expect a little more on the sweet side.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Originally rated May 2006. Purchased in Laval at the Dépanneur À Tout Prix. Pours a cloudy light pink-orange colour, looking just like grapefruit juice. White head that stays a while and leaves decent lacing. Nice scent of raspberry purée and Belgian white beer yeast. The mouthfeel is not as tarty as I expected. The taste seems watered-down. You feel a bit of the raspberries at the start, but then goes to some slight bitterness and then goes smooth into a Perrier water taste and feel. Too bad the taste is not richer, as this one could have potential. For now, stick with the Unibroue Ephémère series.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Raspberry aroma. Light amber colour with a thin white frothy head. overall rather appealing. Flavour is very disappointing and a huge let down. Thin in texture, The great raspberry aroma just is not evident in the flavour. Not great.

2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle shared with jjpm74 and puzzl. Poured a hazy golden with a white head. Sour lemon aroma with perhaps a hint of raspberry. Flavor is really thinned out, with some light raspberry notes and a fizzy body, giving this a feel of flavored seltzer water. Slightly metallic finish. Nothing here really shouts "beer". Blah.
