Bottle (500ml). Via trade with Viper666. Clear slightly deep gold, average lasting frothy white head - that head looks a little scary. Smells like a boozy wit - golden fruit, yeast, sweet but slighly cheap sugary malt - not that bad, maybe I got a good botle. The taste is interesting - initially I thought it resembled pvc, but what I’m getting is strong bitter spice and dry yeast - it’s a little harsh and unbalanced, but hell, this is halfway to a saison, with fairly bitter dried flower hops in the finish. Decent body really, bitter, nice carbonation, not too much aftertaste - call it a hybrid wit/saison and remember who brewed it and you have to conclude this is a decent beer. I’m surprised. *update: by the end of the bottle, there was a cumulative harsh bitterness - like biting an appleseed - that knocked it down a tad - still decent

Originally rated January 2007. Purchased at the Dépanneur À-Tout-Prix in Laval, Quebec. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a white head that does not stay too long, and no lace. The carbonation is steady, but not too crazy. This is the first beer tasted from Breughel where I smell potential. Reminds me of Unibroue with their fine yeast and spices. Unfortunately, that stops there. Mouthfeel is thin and watery. Taste is hardly present. There is 8% ABV in there ?!? Quite well-hidden. The spices are very mild with some light fruits. At least it is not the usual taste they have in there other beers.

Bottle shared by Danielle- Turbid gold pour, with lots of floaties and a hefty frothy cap. Nose of horseblanket, wet basement, lemon, funky yeast. Tastes of tart lemon, yeasty funk, spices, and is a bit floral. Highly acidic and tart finish, medium bodied.Probably not supposed to be like this, but I love sour beers and this was one of the better ones I have had lately, intentional or not, it works.

Hazy golden colour. Thin white head and lace which clings to glass. Herb aroma with coriander. Smooth texture. Nice flavour of herbs, coriander with a nice bitterness. A little thin yet again. Nice beer.

500ml bottle "thanks" to a friend who didn’t had any hostile intentions.
Appearance : Clear yellow with big fluffy and creamy head
Aroma : Peperry with some alcohol and some grains. Cooked veggies. Honeyish sweetness. Some yeast esters. A tad funky and some other stuff I can’t identify
Taste : Spicy and hot. Honey or something like that. Some alcohol, some yeast. Really weird stuff going on here...
Finish : Yeasty and spicy. A bit pvc
Overall : I hate drinking bad beer but I would hate more drinking a bad beer and not even get a rating out of it. Call me a rating whore if you will !

very highly attenuated for a beer this strong little to no body at all resulting in a not overly unpleasant beer but nothing noteworty either.

Bottle: Poured a beige color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some minimal lacing. Aroma of light sweet malt is pretty boring. Taste is also dominated by some light sweet malt notes with no hops or spices to be noticed. Medium body with average carbonation. Not as bad as some other beers from this brewer but just awfully boring.

500ml, bière sans distinction, sans saveurs particulière, pourquoi s’entêter à faire des bières aussi mauvaises ?

Bonne mais sans plus. Bonne fermentation, gout fort en alcool. N a pas de saveur distingue pour moi.

Bottle, 500 ml. Hazy body, deep but pale yellow, almost beige, small head but creamy enough. Shy aroma of cake and coriander. Watery taste of the same. Lots of sweet, some alcohol, and a soft bitter finish. OK but not great.
