COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Ambush Ale, as it name suggests, surprises the palate with a rush of flavour achieved by adding authentic east Kent Golding Hops during fermentation. Ambush Ale is served through creamer taps to render an ultra-smooth and creamy finish.

From a bottle. Very little head/carbonation. A little sweeter tasting than the typical IPA - not your typical cascadian bitter taste (which I prefer).

natrat (66) - Ucluelet, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2005

GCBF. Poured to an orange amber. No head, really, just a swirly of foamy stuff in the middle of the glass. Aroma was estery and had a plum like quality. Mouthfeel was a bit oily, but nice and fresh feeling. Like Sunny D? A nice biscuit malt flavour was the main feature, with a separate and distinct hops flavour. Not much bittering, but a lot of aroma hops that had maybe knocked back with age. Not a bad beer, but not really an IPA.
