On tap at the brewpub in Reno, NV. Poured a dark brown with a tan head. Creamy palate with roasted matls and bitter chocolate as the most dominant flavors. Reading the other ratings I didn’t really want to give it a taste. I’m glad I did.

On Tap- Serve deep black color with a Thick head that that lasted quite well with some lacing. Had a roasted aroma with malt. Had a roasted and malt taste with a dry finish. Medium body with no strong alcohol presence and seems well balanced. Quite clean and smooth. Nice beer to relax with after running the Casino gauntlet.

Draft @ Brew Brothers El Dorado, served on nitro. Pours a beautiful, pitch black color; huge light-tan head with perfect retention and lacing that coats the glass; a beautiful pour. Good amounts of roasted malts, dark chocolate, and hints of dark licorice in the aroma; creamy, if a touch hollow. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: creamy, vanilla-tinged presence upfront; roasted malts, milk chocolate, and touches of smoke; nicely roasted, highly drinkable. Well-done, lots of creamy stout character. Medium finish: toasty malts, roast, and lasting chocolate; well-balanced end. Seriously, is this a new brewer?
