Draft @ Brew Brothers. Pours a hazy yellow color; bright white head with decent retention and very nice fine-bubbled lacing. Solid amounts of Belgian sugars, cotton candy, and sweet honey in the aroma; touches of white pepper. Lively carbonation with just a bit of residual sweetness / overt sugariness. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy, dense honey; Belgian sugars, vanilla and cotton candy esters; on the sweet side, definitely, but not to the point of greatly diminished drinkability; dense, generous, very pleasant saison. Medium finish of honey, Belgian sugar, and toasty grains.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, pepper, candi sugar, fruity, and herbs. Flavor of grass, florals, clove, earth, and candi sugar.

GABF 09- Although my notes dont say Brew Brothers- just Sultan of Saison. Pours a nice golden hazed with a decent fluffy white head. Spicy phenolic yeast on top of some modest fruity esters of pear and peach- sweet malts,and a bit sugary. More sweet flavor- finishes off a bit dry though- honey, doughy malts, light mineral and ok spicy clove phenolics- modest finish- somewhat dry. Ok.
