Pours hazy orange with a thick white head. Almost no aroma. Flavour is weak. Tastes like banana and water. This is terrible.

Draft at The Local. Pours cloudy gold with a two finger thick off white head. Lacing is quite good. Nose is nearly sterile, there’s really nothing going on here... Flavours are creamy, soft, and wheat-driven. Perhaps the most inoffensive beer I’ve ever had. No flaws, but also no assets. Terrifyingly dull.

341mL bottle poured light straw color with small white head and left little lacing behind. Aroma is bready malts with some grass and a little yeast. Taste is lightly sweet malts with a mild hoppy finish and some yeast. Interesting beer.

First time trying this beer in over 10 years! I lost my old tasting note on it. Had a Mason jar full on tap at the Amsterdamn Rhino pub in Calgary, AB on 07/02/2011. Colour: Extremely bright yellow. Nose: as expected, super fresh hard red spring wheat, lively yeast, freshly but grass. Taste: Medium-light sweet, light bitter, light sour. A healthy serving of orange citrus and a delicious but mellow custard taste late. Thumbs up.

14oz glass at Local. Cloudy, golden yellow. Small creamy white foam around the edges. Nose has wheat with some lemon grain and bread. Taste is wheat with some light lemon tang. Finishes with grain and bread. Dry. Light bodied with average carbonation. Tasty and refreshing. A bit of a surprise.

[822-20071105] Tap @ Amsterdam Rhino (Calgary, AB; called "Horn Dog"). Sweet hay-like maple yeast aroma, not overpowering. Clear, orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Yeasty grains flavour has a bit of sweet hay. Grainy medium body. Nice.

Draft @ Amsterdam Rhino in Calgary as Horn Dog Pilsener. Golden yellow body with a small white head. Mild yeasty floral aroma. Mild bitterness throughout, light grassy straw notes. (6+) Average palate. Meh.

DuffMan (6739) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 10, 2007
Sample at Calgary beerfest. Deep golden, slightly hazy. Odd aroma of sweet esters that actually is offputting, synthetic almost. Overly sweet palate with a wheaty profile and a creamy mouthfeel, but ruined by a corn-syrup dominated flavour. More like a cream ale than anything, and certainly NOT like a pilsner! I didn’t care for it at all.

GCBF. Nice corn chip color with a stratified haze. Not cloudy so much as hazy. A spicy smelling but thin head floated in chunks. Mouthfeel was a bit strange, almost oily. The beer was too sweet for me, with minimal hop bittering, but a citrus lemon flavour and grassy overtones finishing the beer. Ok, but not in my top 100 crystal (hahaha) weizens.

Hazy yellow coulour, with some grassy whaeat aroma. The beer as a nice tartness, and almost a candy sweetness, with a light bitterness in after taste. Ok for the style
