Double Decker Porter was brewed in honor of our busing brothers across the pond. The beer has a silky chocolate character, which is balanced with British East Kent Golding and German Magnum hops. Combine that dark brown pour, velvety tan head, and decadent malt character, and youíll find yourself doubling up on this brew for twice the enjoyment.

Can provided by the beernut. Consumed with gusto by myself. The thing about a solid English porter iz that it shows a good deal of reserve. This porter does just that. In the description it sounss as if it may be a hop bomb in porterís clothing. It is not. Well built and round in all the right places. Just the right amount of twang. Hmmm sounds like a girl i picked up in a honky tonk back in college.

12 oz can with a canning date of 16 Feb. 2015 on the bottom served in a snifter. Excellent looking with a generous size, creamy/bubbly tan head that leaves the glass speckled. The aroma has ample dark roasted grains with hints of hops and chocolate. Flavor: perhaps slightly more hoppy than average, this has a mildly bitter flavor with some spiciness from the hops. Feel: medium-full body; nicely smooth; medium carbonation.

Can. Great beer. Best canned porter Iíve ever had, not that Iíve had many. Minimal aroma. This beer is all about its smooth creamy flavor.

Can from RBWG. Pours a nice porter brown with a tan head. Nose is bakerís chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate malt, and some earthy cocoa. Flavor is similar with earth, cocoa, bakerís chocolate, and some light bitterness/ Medium in body with lingering bitter chocolate. Interesting porter overall.

Can extra from weezel. Thanks! Dark brown as it should be. Nose of dark and roasted malts, light cocoa. Roasted malts, slightly astringent. Prefer a sweeter balance and rounder body in porters.

Can shared on the bus during RBWG 2015. Pours clear brown with a light tan head. Toasty brown bread in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with notes of toasted sugars, brown bread, light caramel. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Simple sugary and toasty bread finish, with faint notes of caramel and chocolate. Fine.
