RATINGS: 128   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.49/5   EST. CALORIES: 216   ABV: 7.2%
This 7.2% ABV, crushable IPA, is the perfect blend of the refreshing notes of tropical fruit and citrus, along with the clean finish of fresh pine. Hopped with Magnum, Centennial, and Columbus hop additions give this IPA a strong citrusy, floral base with little hints of spice. And dry hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra hops, the Last Stop IPA is sure to be a crowd pleaser.

2015 BJCP Category: 21A American IPA

AROMA: Strong tropical fruit and citrus aroma; some grass. Lightly sweet grainy malt background scent. 10/12

APPEARANCE: Hazy shade of pale orange. Sediment floating in suspension. Average white foam. Decent lacing. 2/3

FLAVOR: Hop-forward with prominent tropical/citrus flavor throughout first half. Moderate spicy/grassy sensation on second half with slight spice rack aftertaste. Bitterness is medium high. Malt provides for light sweetness and balance. 16/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium body and carbonation. Not crisp, but far from syrupy or flat. Alcohol is subtle, but tolerable. Aftertaste is slightly starchy and drying. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Definitely a solid, to-spec West Coast-style IPA any hophead can and will enjoy. 8/10

Pale, hazy yellow, with a loose white head. Smells citrusy, with some fresh bread. Taste is very hop forward, with very sweetness, if any. That seems kind of odd for a 7% beer, actually. Not bad, regardless.

Can: Orange and lime nose, some malt and acetone. Hazy amber, medium head, good retention and lacing. Pencil shavings and malt with grapefruit and lime accents. Light body, easy carbonation. Distinctive.

Can from Total Wine in Fort Myers. Middle of the road IPA. Nothing here will blow your hair back: less resin, more floral; less on the citrus side, more on the malt bomb side. Slight soapy essence. Bitterness is big & round. Not much to see here.

Rated on 02-06-2016 (Can) This beer’s appearance is a medium sized off-white head that mostly diminished, lightly hazy golden body, slow rising carbonation, and no lacing. The aroma presents citrus hops, grapefruit, tropical fruit, spicy, and some pale malt. The flavor is moderately bitter tasting, citrus hops, tropical fruit, spicy, and a bit of pale malt. The mouthfeel is soft carbonation and this IPA is medium bodied. A quaffable beer with the ABV hidden. I found this IPA not too hoppy or bitter tasting given the beer style.

Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with white head. Citrus, floral notes, a little pine on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with a lot of citrus, very fruity.

New Beer Distributors, NYC can: pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Taste is somewhat bitter and too malty for my taste in IPAs. Not a huge fan of this.
