The Citra Saison is BBNo.’s modern interpretation of a Belgian farmhouse-style classic. A light, crisp body, fresh fruit/spice flavour and a mild bitterness make this a very refreshing, drinkable beer.

Draft. Semi-clear yellow with one finger white head. Aroma is fresh citrus, lemon, saison yeast and light spiciness. Taste is quite similar but with more focus on fleshy lemon and saison yeast. Medium mouthfeel, light to medium carbonation and dry citrus and saison yeast aftertaste.

Bottle from Bishop’s Cave, Bishop’s Stortford. Light to mid-gold, hazy, a bit of white head. Smell is intensely yeasty with some potpourri and more than a hint of posset. Tastes of sweetining spices - I’m reminded of ham overstuffed with clove - and sugary yeast. Nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Not really my cup.of tea.

From Tap: unclear hazy golden, looks like unfiltered applejuice, weird metallic/tangy aroma dominates, not shure if this is meant to be there, light body with low to medium bitterness, some notes of pear and tropical fruits but metallic/tangy thing dominates the taste, some flavors of beer standing for too long as well, still not shure if the glass i got was ok, bartender told me it was...
