The Citra Saison is BBNo.’s modern interpretation of a Belgian farmhouse-style classic. A light, crisp body, fresh fruit/spice flavour and a mild bitterness make this a very refreshing, drinkable beer.

Bottled. A hazy, pale gold colour with a small white head of tiny bubbles. Lemon, orange and just a hint of spice on the nose. Sweet citrus flavours and a warm, bubblegum finish. A faint hint of spice in the flavours too. Very clean and well balanced - very drinkable.

(Brew By Numbers 01/01 Saison - Citra) Tap at Oersoep Craft Beer Festival. Bright yellow colour on the body, mostly clear. Small and thin head on top, with average retention. Nice citrus aroma, bubblegum, pears, herbal notes. Taste has citrus, plenty of hops, some herbal touches again. Medium thin body, good carbonation, very dry on the palate. Very refreshing beer, high drinkability.

Keg, Norwich Tap House, 02/09/15. Diaphanous slender capped gold. Sweet edged, funky nose with spiced pineapple, lime and sweaty horse approaching lambic territory. Wonderful glossy fizzy nick, suggestions of horse, cream cheese, guava, unripe mango sour dabs. Grass and chaff to finish. Beautiful hallucinatory blend pitched midway between Pajottenland and California.
