3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
O1/02 - as Amarillo and Orange 5.6%. Bottled 03/02/14. Pours a hazy straw colour with lots of visible fine carbonation. Aroma has yeast, lychee, lemon, white wine. Light to medium body, medium to full carbonation. A little herby, lemon, white bread dough, some orange zestiness, but it’s minimal, light spice to finish with a pleasant light bitterness. Lacking somehow. OK.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thnx to MannyGoldberg, cheers. Pours a hazy golden beer with a nice amount of white head on top. Aroma is very citric, yeast but misses some of the typical saison touches. Flavor is medium bitter, fruity, lots of orange peel. Short, light bitter aftertaste, well carbonated mouthfeel. Decent saison for sure.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Pale gold hazy lasting thin white head. Orange flora aroma. Intense big and rather fantastic. What a fabulous saison. Of all the saisons that have been done in the last few years in London this is one of the best. A little bit of soap, a little bit of biting hop flavour but the orange flora flavour dominates it all. Really rather good. Love the orange flavour and goes well with the amarillo and the saison yeast. yep, pretty good. To be perfect it would just be a bit more bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12th April 2013
Clear pale gold beer with a big white head. Light crispy palate that turns airy and frothy. Nice light floral note with great fresh orange and tangerine. Whisper of lemon. There is a great zing to this beer, light fresh and tasty. Minerals before a semi dry finish. The best beer from BBN so far!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at CBC, London. Pours golden with a large white head. Soapy foam with thin bubbles. Quite lasting foam. Aroma is definitely barnyard and hay. Brett, cereals, spices, some flowers. Taste little hops, flowers, slight acidity, brett, barnyard funk and hay. Medium body and good carbonation. Overall, a very solid saison.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2013 Bottle. Pale yellow colour with a lovely foamy white head. Smells of orange barley water with a whiff of damp hay. Hay, wheat, soft citrus and kind hops give this wonderfully fresh and light saison a bitter taste, which is more akin to a quality pilsner than a saison; lively carbonation also adds to this premise. Great chilled on a summers day.

4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from Kris Wines BB: 21/02/2014 Bottled: 21/02/2013 Consumed: 2014/4/23 - Delicious Saison. Brutal carbonation at first. Spent a lot of time watching the bubbles push the sediment up the sides of a stemmed tulip! Carbonation dissipated quickly. Left a very loose and fluffy head. Good head retention considering. Tried a bottle previously at The Cock Tavern with less carbonation. Aroma and flavour both fantastic. Very impressive.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at home- 21st April 2013. Pours pale yellow with plenty of volume in the head. Smell is light funk with lots of orange. Taste is dry with zesty orange and some bitterness that is overtaken by lasting dryness. I first heard about BBNo from Andy at Partizan Brewing, another purveyor of excellent saisons. It seems like every other month the UK is coming out with ever evolving iterations of this style.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle thanks to Tom from BBNo. It pours hazy pale yellow with a thick white head. The nose is fresh tangy orange, lemon, marmalade and hay. The taste is zesty orange, wheat, straw, hay, earth, light spice, nice level of bitterness and underlying sweetness with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Zesty, refreshing, drinkable and just damn tasty. This is BBNo’s best work to date. Delicious!

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle at home in London, picked up at Utobeer. Pours mostly clear, pale yellow with a billowing, fluffy white head. Lovely, mellow wheat in the nose, suggestions of lemon and orange citrus, slight hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with some doughy wheat, light straw bitterness, restrained citrus. Light bodied with light, massaging and mouth-filling carbonation. Clean finish, very lightly bitter with lemon peel and straw, light doughy sweetness, some further wheat. Wonderful. To me, this is a quintessential saison. I could drink buckets of this beer.
