COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Another pairing of hops and citrus. The juicy fruit punch of Motueka hops is offset by the zing of fresh lime zest; all backed up by a classic Saison yeast character.

Tap @ In De Wildeman, sample size glass. Golden blonde color, hazy. Dense, sticky white head, good lacing. Aroma’s: very refreshing, fruity, quite like a Belgian saison. Retronasal there’s fruit, fruity sourness, dryness, malt/grain, light bitterness. Lime is detectable throughout. Flavor hs fruity sourness and moderate bitterness. Light bodied. Long, fairly dry, bitter finish. Nice!

On tap at the St. Andrews Brewing Co. brewpub. A very slightly hazy golden body topped by a very durable white head that leaving fine patterns of sticky lacing. Aroma: like most saisons, not appealing. Flavor: like most saisons, more appealing than the aroma. Still, a bit too much in the way of hints of a barnyard here. Mildly tart and faintly bitter. Probably a bit more hoppy than average for style More lime peel than lime juice.

2015-03-04. Lightly hazy pastel yellow-orange body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is strangely interesting, notes of soap and minerality then musky funky lime. Better than that probably sounds. Flavour is pleasant, light lime and minerality, muted saison base. Average to light bodied palate, effervescent carbonation. 3+ Not sure if it has suffered a bit from travel or if it’s just not quite to my On tap at Birch & Barley, Washington DC.

Overheard: "You didn’t know my grandmother but that reminds me of her."

Draught. Hazy pale yellow, whitish head. Garden fruityness, bit of spices, some lemon and grainy notes in aroma. Feels a bit thin. Citrus, sour notes and peppery spicyness in taste. Hoppy dry finish. There’s hints of some grainy notes and lemon in the end.

Draught @Brewdog Helsinki. Pale amber, thin white head. Huge zesty aroma, thyme, spicy stuff indeed. Crisp, lime is everywhere. Saison yeasty, spicy flavor, and the lime mixed together works really good here. So refreshing.

Aroma: grain malts, yeast, sour, some flowers. Appearance: hazy, pale gold, medium, creamy, white head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters expand, grain malts again, some yeast, some citrus, sours in the background, getting dry in the finish. Overall: nice Saison, at first was a bit more excited, but still very good. Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Bermondsey.
