zacgillbanks (1856) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2014
Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A cloudy yellow-white coloured beer that pours with a huge foamy head. It has spicy lemon and citrus fruit flavours, vanilla and lime with tropical notes in the finish.

Benzai (6432) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - MAR 27, 2014
Bottle shared with Illuvatarmilan. Slightly unclear yellow color, medium sized quickly diminishing white head. Smell is weird, unusual. Probably the lime influence. Taste also clearly has lime and lightly hops. Not that typical saison-yeastyness. Nicely balanced, but nothing really stands out. Nice beer though. Quite refreshing.

Beese (1099) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle at the Exmouth Arms, London on 15 February 2014. Poured a clear, pale yellow colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with some citrus, grain and spice. Some slightly sour citrus zest flavours with notes of honey and straw. Finish was quite crisp; light grassy hops, lemongrass and cereal.

Idiosynkrasie (3241) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - MAR 9, 2014
330ml bottle. With the first pours clear, later hazy yellowish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma has a lime note, hints of peppermint and basil, a floral touch of hay, an unspecific vegetable background. Taste is dry and moderately tart, hints of lime, peppermint and basil, backgroundish the typical Grisette flavours. A nearby, obviously matching combination, sadly not fully working resp. leading to the rather monotonous result of damped vibration.

tiong (3073) - Espoo, FINLAND - MAR 8, 2014
330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled 17/12/2013 - Pours clear yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma of lime, zesty and stingy fruitness, some tartness, spices, hints of pungent vegetables. Taste is sweet, zesty and fruity with loads of lime peel, hints of tartness, yeast and spices. Finish is smooth, slightly hoppy and zesty with lime notes. Not very balanced, as the lime overpowers everything here.

Bottle from Ales By Mail [220214]
Pale yellow amber, slight haze, dense white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft citrus zest, slight herbal notes, getting the lime, soft yeast, light fruits, interesting aroma
Taste of citrus zest, some spicy hops, lime, slight herbal note, bit peppery, lemon zest, soft saison yeast, very light sweet pale malts, slightly unusual
Palate - Medium carb, light to medium body, lime zest, some sharp zest, soft sweet malts. Finish as main flavour, some herbal hop notes
Overall - Interesting - hoppy for a saison, saison notes more subdued than normal for the style
