Bottled. Chose to pour in the yeast so it was a very hazy, light golden colour with a small head of very small white bubbles. Lovely bubblegum, with some earthy, spicy, herbal aromas too. The same combination comes through really well in the mouth, with the dry earthiness balancing the sweeter bubblegum and spice. Excellent.

Keg during BBNo. It pours lightly hazy orange-golden with a thick white head. The nose is fresh orange, tangerine, mild spice, orange muffin and light spice. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange peel, spice, tangerine, sherbet, light creaminess, spice and straw with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Balanced, fruity and crushable. Very nice indeed.

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Hazy golden pour with a decent white head. Citrus, goosebery and grassy, pissy hop in the beak. Some initial tartness in the flavour which had notes of tropical fruits, hay, pine and a little spice leading to a dry bitter finish. Really well poised. A lovely vibrant and fresh Saison. Best yet from this crew.

Murky golden, really tiny bubbles, well carbonated, white head and lacing, smooth, tastes like white wine more than beer and when you realise that its better. Quite fruity. Bottle at bottle shop.

Bottle@bbno brewery. Haze yellow. One finger foam. Yeasty spicy notes. I guess catpiss on a gooseberry leave. Dry peppery bitter taste. Some sweetness in the end. Complex. Like it.

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden body topped with a dense, finger-thick white head. The aroma has tropical fruits, citrus peel and a good dash of black pepper and saison yeast. Black pepper, saison yeast, pink grapefruit and tropical fruits. Full body with a pleasant carbonation, quite dry. Lasting bitter finish with lots of nice flavors. Not very complex this one, still it is. And it’s damn fine too. 140717
