Our Original Porter is brewed with seven different malts, including brown malt, chocolate malt and crystal malts. This results in a rich aroma and flavour that is backed up by a light dry-hopping.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bierfestival Mechelen 2014. Light mocha brown, little tanned bubbles. Nose is sweet mocha, caramel, cheap chocolate, light liquorice. Taste is coffee, cocoa, cheap / Eastern-European chocolate, sweet cacao, faint liquorish, light bitter. Light body. Quite nice, good stuff.

1/3 pint, 6.1 % abv, serving from keg, guest beer at BrewDog Shepherds Bush. Faint low fawn-coloured head. Opaque dark brown body. Spotty lacing. Rich smell of confectionery malts, nicely roasted. Blended flavour profile of brown and black malts, including coffee and cocoa. Backdrop of fruity hops to a malt-bitter ending. A pleasant, well-crafted porter (London 24.09.2014).

Fad, Mikkeller & Friends. Mørke brun, beige skum. Relativt let i kroppen, lakridset aroma, nutty i munden og ret bitter finish. En slags modern british porter

Tap. Black body with a small, lacing tan head. Aroma of toasted malt, licorice, dark fruits and chocolate. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Porter.

Malty, a bit of chocolate but not too much. Faint smell of something like vanilla? Creamy body even though it could be a bit heavier

Bottle from The Beerhive. Black body with ruby highlights. Large tan head that holds well and leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma of leather, ground coffee beans, earth and leather. Flavour of tobacco, chocolate orange and filter coffee. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Light carbonation. It’s a bit on the thin side, but this is a very tasty Porter from a top brewery. This bottle was 6.1% ABV.

Color negro con reflejos caobas y espuma beige. Aromas de café, tostados, azúcar moreno. Cuerpo medio, inicio ligeramente dulce con final amargo tostado y toque de café. Muy rica.
