Our Original Porter is brewed with seven different malts, including brown malt, chocolate malt and crystal malts. This results in a rich aroma and flavour that is backed up by a light dry-hopping.

Bottle at the launch party. Pours opaque black, with a tan brown head. Nose is rich and malty. Chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, prune, roasted malt. Taste is delicious and reminds me a bit of Carnegie Porter but even richer and better. Nice balance between chocolately, roasted malt and dark fruit, prune, raisins and a bit of vanilla. Very good porter.

Bottle from BottleDog. Dark black colour, medium off white head. Solid malt background, roasty and bittersweet, rather strong herbal American hoppy taste. Pleasant, definitely feels like a ’craft’ porter.

330ml bottle [6.1% abv]. Dark brown colour with red glimmer, average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, nuttily malty aroma, some milk chocolate, nougat. Taste is dry nuttily, subtle malt sweetness, hints of chocolate, some hop bitterness. Intense, manifold nuttily flavours, hazelnut, peanut, etc., nut pellicle. Brown Ale resemblance.

Thanks hertie! Pours a super dark brown/black with a nice tan ring. The smell is roasted malt, licorice, brown sugar and nice hop aroma. The taste is very dry and roasty dark malt with chocolate, coffee and dry ending. Medium body with soft elegant carbonation. A very nice beer!

Sehr runder, deutlich malziger Antrunk. Schokoladig, steigende Intensität. Sehr aromatisch, Vanille, vollmundig, extrem süffig. Genial! 11/13/12/11/10/11

Keg at Mother Kelly, deep brown with a fine crema, plain choc nose, dry-bitter and roasty, light spiciness, a plain porter like Guinness ought to be.
