jmgreenuk (5803) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - SEP 30, 2014
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is grassy hop, light malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a grassy nettle hop, spicy citrus malt palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. This was so gorgeously hoppy that it seemed more like a black IPA. A great beer indeed.

Bottle. Itís a dark brown beer with a dense, off-white to beige head. It has chocolate, some coffee, nuts and roasted malts in the aroma. The flavor is lightly sweet, with roasted malts and chocolate. Coffee and some prunes. Medium to full body with a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting roasted and coffeeish finish. Certainly not the most interesting BBNo beer Iíve had, but itís quite tasteful and easy drinkable anyway. 140724
