Tap @ Keller, Tartu. Aroma is light crispy bread, some raisins, caramel. Taste is also light raisins, cream, some coffee, burned bread. Easy to drink, but little bit too sourish.

Tap (TCBW2016)
Darkish, tan head. Mostly roasty aroma, but there’s something odd going on that I don’t like. Light drinkable palate. Very pleasant roasty taste too, brings out the toastiness in the aroma, but that’s marred by it being a bit stale in feel. Decent old-fashioned porter, shame about the oddness in the aroma - dirty glass?

Marduk (5887) - Reval, ESTONIA - APR 8, 2016
Tap @TCBW 2016. Very dark brown, almost black color. Small size, brown head, stays. Aroma is absolutely disgusting. I get dirty-milky washing cloth from aroma, which is big no for me. Gag reflexes... Taste is different story. Nice amount of dark chocolate, nuts, roasted malts, some vanilla and hint of woodyness. Nice tingly hops in aftertaste. Lovely sipper. Shame about aroma...

My bottle was overwhelmingly carbonated. In a way I poured only foam and still had too much carbonation in it. But after pouring it several times to bigger vessels I managed to finally drink it in a proper way. It happened to be a classic porter with tasty dark chocolate notes. Also heavy on the hops giving it orange peel and zest notes. It has earthy finish. I have to come back to this beer but I’ll wait for another batch. Hope they will fix the over carbonation.
