33cl, new exclusive English brew Anno 2013, from The Bottle Shop Canterbury, not complex sour brew, malty/sour and slightly fruity, refreshing, balanced, clear, good head, simple brew, ’Smells and tastes nearly as a low quality sparkling wine!’

33cl bottle, bottled 05/?/2013. Pale straw color, huge foamy white head. Aroma has lemon, yeast, very tart, spritzy. Flavor has lemon, wheat and yeast. Finish has strong notes of apricot cream. Bonedry. High drinkability. Excellent.

33cl bottle. It pours clear light golden with a huge fizzy white head. Gusher warning. The huge head turns quickly into a half finger worth of foam. Aroma is refreshing and citrusy, white wine like with some dusty notes. Some peaches. Very fruity and winey. Taste is similar in terms of flavour notes: citrus, peach, wine, basement mostly. Quite acidic, a tad salty. Leaves an initial winey aftertaste that evolves into a grainy feeling. Body is light with sparkling carbonation. Actually, very good and refreshing.

Leighton (9855) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle at home in London - picked up at Utobeer. Pours lightly hazy yellow, highly effervescent, with a sizeable, tight white froth head. Plenty of lacto tang in the aroma, suggestions of sour lemon. Light sweet flavor with quick, sharp sourness, light citrusy lemon tang, background wheat. Light bodied with lively, cloudy-like carbonation. Brisk sour wheat finish, further citric lemon bite, some biscuits, subtle salty kick. Great stuff overall. Quite fresh and quenching.

Bottle at home from ales by mail
dusty slightly tart yeast esters, dry spices and pineapple on the nose. Biting lively carbonation, full bodied, fluffy white head on a super hazy blonde body. Quite tart, custardy, almost lagerlike malt and yeast banana esters. Its pretty good but the carbonation spoils it.

lusikka (5359) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 22, 2013
330 ml bottle.
Pours a cloudy bright yellow colour with a large foamy head. Aroma of tangy citrus, dough-like yeastiness and sweet juicy fruits. Flavour of strong sharp citrus, sour fruits, caramel and bread. Musty yeastiness becomes more and more present in the aftertaste. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and high carbonation. Finish is sharp and citrusy, but really strong on stuffy yeastiness. Unfortunately not the refreshing type of Berliner Weisse I was looking for, but still quite promising. Without the yeastiness this would’ve shook the world.

Bottle from Stirchley Wines. Refreshing lemon, sour lemonade fizz. Bit of funk. Tasty, delicious. Yep.

Scopey (5536) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2013
Bottle at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell. It pours cloudy pale yellow with a fizzy white head. The nose is wheat, barnyard, hay, spice, vintage gouda, cracker, light chlorine and green apple. The taste is initially tart, sharp lemon, limeade, light soap, and wheat with a clean, dry finish. Medium body and effervescent carbonation. I would have liked it to be a bit more sour, but it is a very drinkable brew.

tommann (2488) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2013
330ml bottle. Pours a hazy lemon gold with a thin, bubbly head. Aroma is lemon and wheat with a little cheese. Taste has sharp, sour lemon to start with a cheesy finish.
