[Bottle (650ml) shared with Ferris, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o Ferris] Pours a cloudy yellow-gold with a spare white head. Aroma of salt first followed by citrusy tartness. Flavour’s not as citrusy tart as expected and a bit sour. Average to medium bodied. More Gose-like then Berliner Weisse to me, but pleasant enough regardless.

On tap at the brewery with Harry. Salt and vinegar crisps. Good beer. Very salt and vinegar. Good though.

2014-08-26. Hazy pale pastel yellow body with a small white head. 3+ Aroma is something I can’t place, like some kind of fresh salad that seems super familiar, but I can’t put my finger on it, lemon. Like romaine lettuce and something else. Flavour is lightly sour, mild wheat notes. Smooth average to light bodied palate, soft carbonation. Very mild, a bit strange at times, but tasty. Pleasantly quaffable but needs a touch more oomph to everything for me. Bottle shared by Ferris

330ml bottle from Sourced Market, drunk on the train. Pours hazy yellow with enthusiastic white head. Decent Berliner Weisse with some citric lemon spice, light sherbet and a little funk linger. Dry finish. Nice. I liked.

Bottledog. Big lemon, a little stewed tea. Vegetal quality also. Some minor sweetness along the way but solid for the style. This brewery is on fire this summer!

Bottle - Lemon, soapy and salt. Cloudy yellow and a decent white head. Light citrus and some sourness. Pretty easy and light. Maybe a bit too light.

Benzai (8212) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle shared at the brewery. Hazy very pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste a light sourness, slightly some herbs or spices, a hint of cucumber and somehow it’s still nice. Weird, but it like it.

Bottle at the brewery during RBESG ’14 day 2, 08/08/14. Hazed golden yellow with a well appointed off white head that stays for the show. Nose is citric peel, earthy notes, straw, bread dough, herbal tones, light spice. Taste comprises lemon rind, grass, citric peel, subtle acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid ’Linner.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy straw yellow pour with a thin foamy white head, aroma has big lemon action, taste has lemon along with that light sourness you expect from a Berliner, a hint of grain and acidity, I will be drinking again, delightful stuff.
