Keg at BBN Bermondsy. Hazy golden orange, big foamy head. Aroma - leafy, some mixed fruit, touch of onion. Body - medium, some spritz from the carbonation. Taste - good citrus hit of orange and lemon, some bittering herbs and grass. Good stuff. Very fresh tasting and refreshing to drink in the sun.

The Last Tasting at Bruce’s palatial pad. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy gold beer with a small white head. Palate is airy with super fine carbonation. Light airy malt. Mellow orange hops with a touch of floral character. Finishes soft and airy. Fine, just lacks a bit of hop bite.

Bottle slpit at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton, 19/09/13. Clear pale golden with a thin off white head that dissipates to a swirl. A few floaty friends also present in this number. Nose is bitter citric fruit, grapefruit, hops, toasted malts. Taste comprises bitter hop notes, orange pith, grapfruit, grass, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with well balanced hop bittneress. Good stuff.

Bottle from the brewery. This is a London made US style IPA to match anything from The Kernel, and probably surpass a few of them. I have a sniff from the bottle straight after opening and its a big hit of bitter citrous fruit. Very fresh fruit nose. Colour is pale slightly orange amber, light haze, medium to large white foam head. Nose is packed with fresh grapefruit, fresh lemons, orange marmalade. Taste is fresh citrous fruit, grapefruit, lemon, orange, citrous rind, pine resin bitter, light husky grain, touch of flinty minerally. Body is medium, mouthful is light fresh and crisp. Finish is pine resiny and crisp citrous fruit bitter.

Bottle at Bruce’s, thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy amber-gold with some small particles and a white head. The nose is orange, tangerine, marmalade, sherbet, bitter-sweet and fruit salad sweets. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, resin, orange, tangerine, grapefruit and light alcohol kick with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine-medium carbonation. Nice vibrant orange character.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Has a fruity malty peachy hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty peachy hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty peachy hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours a clear golden colour with a big white head. Long lasting foam and lot of carbonation streming off the bottom of the glass. Aroma is hop forward on the fruity side, with pineapple and citrus. Taste is similarly fruity but not overly bitter. Grapefruit and peaches with a touch of acidic note in the finish. Medium mouthfeel and well carbonated. A bit too high ABV for my IPA.
