1.8.2014. Appearance is brown both in beer and head. Aroma of malts, wood and nuts. Taste is somehow roasted and bitter with hints of nuts. Somehow muted and not that well balanced.

Bottle at home, 27th November 14. Brown, the aroma is burnt sugar, and browned malt, some hops. The taste is good , malts with some muted hops, perhaps as the brew was a few months old. Good and enjoyable all the same, but not my favourite brown ale

Bottle picked up at ’Jacks’ Westholme Store, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, Thursday 20th November 2014. Pours a rich amber colour slight ruby hue with a large bubbly, almost creamy, light beige head. A little hoppiness and then some marzipan, its smooth with a bitter snappy bite, hops a bit rough. Soft in mouth, its really good A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
