Yes. Not quite as much as hoped, but yes. Love their labelling. Was drunk. Forgot I’d even had it. So, yes.

33cl bottle. It pours a dark ruby/light brown colour. Slightly hazy with a large off-white head. Aroma is burnt sugar, almonds, flowery hops and a tad of espresso. Taste is sweet-acidic up front with a little hoppy bitter kick. Very dry. Notes of burnt sugar, nutmeg, violet and hops. Body is medium with high carbonation. Overall, it reminded me of the Baladin beers with this persistent burnt sugar note. Quite good, but does not live up to other beers in the lineup to me.

Bottle at home in London. Pours russet-brown with a fine, creamy beige head. Dry, burnt leaf nose, some minerals. Medium sweet flavor with some modest roast, light coffee, dirt, torched leaves. Medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Toasty sugar finish, some lightly burnt toast, dirt, light tobacco, earth, burnt leaves, low bitterness. Tasty beer overall.

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2013 Bottle from Craft Brixton. Colour is cloudy chestnut brown to dark brown, with an off white head. Nose is big and malty, chocolatey, ’Shreddies’ cereal, brown sugar and some zesty hops aromas of blackberry. Mainly very malty though. Taste is a cornucopia of flavours. A lot of fruity hop. Blackberry, lemon citrous, bitter sours, touch of pine, and lots of maltiness and chocolate. There’s a bit of coffee coming through in the finish too. Lots going on but I like it. It has a thick texture and some dryness but it works. Really think these guys are making interesting beers packed full of flavours.

Opaque dark brown beer, decent pale cream - tan head. Palate is dry and slightly soft. Mild minerals. Pleasant mellow coffee with a trace of malt cream. Good balance of hops - mellow blackberry and marmalade orange. Dry finish. Nice beer, but a tad dry.
