We tip our hats to the men & women of Fire House #2 just a couple blocks away, with this classic “Munchener helles lager.

Sample at the brewpub on 8/7/10. Pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Nice aroma of caramel and cherry with a bit of booze. Caramel malt flavor with a bit of fruit. Not much hop going on here, but still a nice beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours copper with a thin off-white head and a nice toffee aroma. There is a smooth caramel malt flavor with subtle hop bitterness and a long dry finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours cludy aber with a creamy white head. Mid bready aroma. Near medium body; mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly bready with a decent dose of grassy hop. Finishes nicely bitter. Clean. Refreshing.
