Draft. A chestnut colored beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is very light. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, leading to a dry nutty finish where an edge of clorine show up. Far from style, but drinkable.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 JaBier (3212) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - SEP 7, 2010
Sample at the brewpub on 8/7/10. Pours a clear reddish brown with a medium tan head. Malty nose with grainy and caramelly notes. Sticky caramel flavor; very sweet and thick. I’m glad it had some body, but coulda used some hop balance.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 marcus (4051) - Sacramento, California, USA - MAR 26, 2010
On tap at the brewery. Pours medium brown with a thin beige head and a floral aroma. There is a nutty way too thin malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish.

On tap. Pours a clear dark amber golden with a small off-white head. Lightly nutty aroma. Medium body, almost flat, a little roasted malt and then the usual tang of chlorine and chemicals. Something is seriously wrong with the bottom-fermented beers from Brew It Up. 130709

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 thedm (4124) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 4, 2007
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent uncarbonated red brown colored body and an excellent lacing. The weak aroma was malty and sweet. The semi-flat mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt sweet and Irish red malt. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.
