"Draft" at the brewpub. Pours like a Guinness. Cascades of tan bubbles. Near opaque brown color with a very creamy and substantial tan head. Aroma of toasted malt. Medium body with creamy nitrogenation. The flavor is dark toasted malt with a bit of vanilla bean coffee. No cocoa. Slightly sweet finish. Perhaps a touch of floral hop. Very smooth. Just a little bitter in the finish, but the toasted aspect helps balance the malt.
