On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a modest beige head and a treacle aroma. There is a rich molasses and honey flavor with an alchol finish. Very tasty.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours near black with a decent tan head. Body is medium plus with mild carbonation. Flavor is smooth dark malt with noticeable honey and some bitter that might not be from the malt. Finish has enough sweet to offset the bitter, but the honey characteristic seems to wash away. Drinks pretty good.

Dark brown pour, beige head that laces really well. Roast coffee and vanilla nose. Flavor is leathery and woody rounded out by subtle honey sweetness. A little alcohol warmth sets it after swallowing. Medium palate. Overall pretty good.
