Draught sample at the Cleveland International Beer Fest on 5/14/11. Clear copper pour with a thin tan head. Malty nose with a strange hop note and some bready character. Flavor is malty and big, but a bit weird with a dry hoppy finish. One of very few doppel sticke style brews I’ve had, but not as clean as say, Uerige’s version.
