| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 29, 2009 Clear orangey amber body is covered by an initially large off-white head that quickly recedes to cover. Mostly grainy aroma does not show lots of depth, reminding more of dry bread than toasty biscuitiness. Cleansing carbonation punctuate the light-medium body. Minimal hints of honey, apple skin, pencil shavings. Neither refreshing nor complex which removes a bit of its purpose. It’s sad how the beers at this palce were so good, but every bottle brought out of it was either problematic or dull. Tmoney99 (4805), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Pours clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malty aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium balanced malty flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of an average duration. My expectation where met.
