Draft sample at The Pint Room, 6/19/2013. Medium-density dark brown smaller off-white creamy head; medium lacing. Roast, toast, chocolate, sweet, nutty. Body is creamy yet on the thinner side. I couldn’t find any coconut in this.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep clear brown with ruby highlights. Almost no head. Chocolate and malty aroma. I’m picking up mainly chocolate and tobacco in the flavor. Maybe some coconut in the finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle from BA trade. Poured a medium density dark black with a smaller foamy light beige head that quickly disapates. Aroma is
sweet coconut, medium toast, chocolate malts, light roast and a hint of creamy butter. Body is medium at best with light carbonation that comds alive on the end of the swallow. Flavor mimics the aroma but more roasty with burnt toast and dark chocolate. Solid beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a deep brownish black from he bottle with fluffy tan head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big chocolate and coconut notes, but not a whole lot else. Taste follows, huge coconut and chocolate notes with a hint of porter base behind it. Soft carbonation, medium body, delicious dessert beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1 finger dense tan head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big milk chocolate, toasted coconut, cocoa, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, light coffee, and roast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/roasted malt, lactose, and coconut/chocolate notes; with great strength. Taste of big milk chocolate, toasted coconut, cocoa, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, light coffee, and roast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of milk chocolate, toasted coconut, cocoa, vanilla, cream, caramel, toffee, light coffee, and roast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt, lactose, and coconut/chocolate flavors; with a great roasted bitter/sweet balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky, and slightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding coconut milk stout. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roasted malt, lactose, and coconut/chocolate flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Opaque black/brown color, 1" beige head, sheets of lace. Good aroma of chocolate malt. Taste is malt overlaid with chocolate and a light hint of coconut that moves through a lightly carbonated swallow to a finish that has a little bittering, which is enough for good balance. A solid Sweet Stout that lays easy in the belly, is well-balanced, and has body far beyond the low abv. Recommended.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On Tap at Pies and Pints Worthington. Brew Kettle Kitka Chocolate Coconut Milk Stout is a rich dark brown brew with a full head of off white bubbles. Nose is rich roasted coconut and chocolate. Taste is more of the same. Body is very creamy. This is an awesome beer if chocolate and coconut is your thing. It very much is mine. THis is like a liquid Mounds bar.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle shared poured a brown to almost black with medium brown head. The aroma is deep and rich in coconut and not roasted either and sweet malts. Like the previous rater is this an extract or real coconut because it smells awesome. The flavor gives more of the same coconut flavor roasted malts and a very nice creamy chocolateness. Overall still light enough in body and quite drinkable

Strong Coconut aroma and taste. Chocolate smoothness with a milk chocolate and light hop bite. Very strong flavors. Is this artificial? Seems it has to be. Malty beer.
