UPDATED: MAR 28, 2003 Sampled at Honolulu location. Very pale yellow with a grassy/hoppy nose and crisp mouthfeel. More hop in the flavour than I expected from a light lager.

On tap at the brew pub. Poured a clear yellow with a thin white head. Aroma and flavor of a light beer. I’m sure that this is designed for the light beer drinkers to have something to drink at a microbrewery. Not something I would try again.

Tap. Sour lemon malt aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sour barley flavor with a moderate hops finish. Advertised as a light beer so compared to most light pale lagers, this is very good.

On tap, Brewpub. You know its bad when my friend smiles after drinking this and shouts, “wow this tastes like Heineken!” Flavor is too light, palate is weak and empty, and there is little finish. Only redeeming quality is that the flavors that are present are not offensive.

2008 - Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – Light pilsner aroma with a tad of hops in the nose.
Appearance – Golden yellow color, clear with a nice head.
Flavor – A light beer flavor this was very nice to finally find a good beer in Hawaii.
Palate – Dry finish with a nice Mouthfeel.
Overall – This was a very good Pilsner and to help my Hawaiian beer experience. The brewery was clean and the beer was very nice.

On tap at the Brew Moon located in the Ward Center. Poured a lighter yellow color with a very small sized head. Aromas and tastes of graininess and some sweet maltiness. Light yeast. Lacing left on the glass.

Sampled at the brewery with tastes of mild hops and carbonation in the throat. Lots of bubbles. A slight taste of yeast appeared in the ending.

Very pale. Thin in color and aroma and flavor. Some malty and yeasty bread in the flavor, but not very exciting.

Sampler - Light lemony aroma. Clear bright straw color w/ thin white ring of a head. Moderate flavor of bitters, lightly acidic with short finish. Medium bodied, but I thought it was pretty good. Lagers aren’t my favorite.
