3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
There’s a faint haze in an orange-amber glass with largish bubbles evident. The head rose up and came down, ending as a crescent of film on top of the body. However, all in all, not a bad looking beer and as a wise man once said, the first drink is with the eyes. There was full maltiness at first snort. My conk picked up apricots, lush malty nectar and then lungfuls of banana. Another go revealed blood orange, golden syrup and more ripe banana. With a mouthful, there’s plenty of zesty carbonation, orange peel and then mellow banana and sweet glazed pastry. It’s a fascinating combination. Is the secret spice mace at all? Whatever, this beer is a new favourite.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the source. Cloudy yellow color, white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and banana. Taste is banana, citrus, light clove. Delicious!

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This as Wheat Ale does not have any of the floral notes that you might be thinking you’d get. You get a nice crisp beer, with an unassuming list of tastes that delivers a nicely drinkable drink. It was wildly carbonated but as per usual my ability to get any sort of a head appears to lacking. I didn’t love this, but I didn’t think that I’d never drink it again should I get a chance.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Took awhile for the aromas the come through due to the frothy head. The orange peel and coriander are evident in this beer not only on the nose but on the palate. Very cloudy beer, which I though would add a bit more to the texture.
