3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 elihapa (1385) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - AUG 23, 2008
On tap, Brewpub. Pours a light ruby-red with a smallish head. Sweet aroma of malt and some candied fruit (cherry?). Palate is smooth, medium-bodied, and crisp carbonation. Flavor is primarily sweet throughout with a touch of roasts, but a bit too heavy on butterscotch-sweet for me at times. Finishes refreshing, perhaps because of some hops for balance and crispness.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 fordest (1954) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Draft at the brewpub. The manager noticed padrefan and I actually smelling and swirling and talking about our beers, so he came over and let us try a few extras. He gave us this beer in the Dry hopped/Nitro version as well as the regular. I liked the dry hopped version better. More of everything really. Nice hoppy aromas and a very decent toasted malt on the flavor. Pretty good
3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 swanmann (399) - Norman, Oklahoma, USA - MAR 18, 2007
My favorite taster. Thanks to the crappy little glass, I could barely detect some grassy aroma. The flavor had good bitter hops on a toasty backbone. Well balanced with a lasting finish.
