Mercurio IPA is a mercurial mix of American style Craft Beer’s hero: The famous IPA, and El Salvador’s beloved panela and citrus flavors.
It is very hop forward but has a balanced bitter sweet flavor that is perfect in hot tropical weather. Citrus hop aromas, flavors & bitters are balanced with caramelly sweet malt & panela body. Flavors of ruby grapefruit, lemon & orange & mollassey caramel. Balanced bittersweet.
It is Amargo-dulce. Citrico y Balanciado

Bottle: Amber golden color with heavy solid head. Aroma is great; herbal, citrus, grapefruit, piney lots of hops. Taste is citrus with a nice lingering bitterness. Body is light which makes this a great brew for the El Tunco heat. Food Pairing: pasta at Mopelia right next door to the micro brewery!

This is a darned good citric IPA. It reminds me of grapefruit juice, and as the only IPA in the whole country of El Salvador it is standing on its own for this type of bitterness.

Really balanced IPA. Loads of hop flavor and aromas without overpowering bitterness. Great balance with the caramel hops and the panela.
