COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special - 2011
1 Hundred is defined by its intense hop aroma and malt balance. Hopped exclusively with Centennial hops, massive additions in the kettle and again in the fermenter lend there characteristic grapefruit and pine resin aromas. A significant malt body balances this hop presence and leads to a remarkably drinkable American-style India Pale Ale.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf Borough. Clear pale chestnut only a few bubbles. Grapefruit sherbert aroma. Very decent hop. As an IPA brewed in the UK its very good. Really good ipa. Love the hops Steve.

Cask at the Brew Wharf. Pours a hazy amber wit a thick, oily cream head. Nice hop nose with light yeast, grass and toast. Good flavor, has some honey and tropical citrus, modest pine and some syrupy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Has dense lacing. Finishes sticky and slightly tangy, with some really leafy hops and caramel, bready malts. Good beer.

Cask Conditioned handpump Brew Wharf London. An amber coloured beer with a bright white head and lacing. A lovely hoppy aroma with oranges and sweet malts. Definite Centennial notes in the nose. Bit of a berry hint too. Thick gloopy and hoppy in the mouth. Good darker fruits. A nice body and very tasty. Good hops and even a bit of hob nob biscuit in there.

Cask (handpump) at Brew Wharf on 26 February 2011. Reddish colour. Not particularly lively but condition not too bad by BrewWharf standards. Loads of hops - very resiny with citrus and tropical fruit. Maybe a little sweet but there’s a good measure of balancing bitterness to ensure it’s not short of bite. Very tasty.
