4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 ladnewton (910) - London, - JUL 13, 2011
Cask at Brew Wharf on 27th June 2011. Clear, light amber with white part lacing foam ring. Aroma is citric hoppy with a touch of honey. Main taste is fruity, hoppy and very bitter. A lingering robust hoppy bitterness in a very satisfying finish, with a richly textured mouthfeel on light carbonation. Easy drinking. For a 3% session ale this is packed with flavour, powerfully bitter and more-ish. Another "tasting" session ending up with a second pint. Excellent!

Cask at MesandSim’s wedding. Hazy pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy, flavour is similar with mild malts. Light and clean palate. Damn refreshing and fine work for the abv.

Tap (Brew Wharf, post-RBESG2011 Monday)
Hazy, that’s for sure. Tea-like aroma. Smooth palate. Mellow husky malts and a really smooth hoppy bite. Some apple, some grapefruit, some nettle, and tons of bite. A bit one-dimensional, to be honest, but certainly drinkable. I agree with the silky one - this needs more malt before it gets two thumbs up.

Gravity cask at The Wedding. Pours clear gold with a subtle, white head. Lots of raw hops with light sweetness. Some grass. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Gritty bitter finish. An OK beer.

Cask at The Wedding. Pale and hoppy. Good body for a 3%. Too much like nettle juice for me. I like malt.

Hazy gold.
Fruity and hoppy nose. Malty body, crisp and dry long finish. Surprisingly good for auch a low ABV.

18th June 2011 On tap at Mes&Sims wedding - Chees Guys! Slightly hazy pale gold beer. Light dry palate, low carbonation. Tasty mild green hops, mild tangerine. Green hop bitterness towards the dry finish. Good flavour for it’s abv but inevitably a little thin.

Cask, gravity at Mes and Sims Wedding, 18.06.11 Pours hazy mid gold with a filmy white head. Really quaffable for a 3% beer. Some citrus pithiness shines through, and a late touch of spiciness also showing. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3
