3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (10383) - Como, ITALY - DEC 9, 2005
Draught at the Brew Wharf, London Hazy blond color. The aroma is quite fruity (ripe pears), a bit soapy. The mouthfeel is soft, there is some residual sweetness; the bitterness is correct, the emotions are missing…

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 harrisoni (10070) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 31, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 8, 2005 Handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough. According to the barman, this was the first day that they had sold this beer. They intend to brew 2 beers, one hopped with Goldings and one with Fuggles. Gold colour with no head. Nice distinctive Goldings aroma which is floral and with some toffee. Bit thin in mouth, very little carbonation. Floral aromatic hop finish is nice though. The body of the beer needs some work.
Re-rate 06/12/05
This has got better. Citrus flowery hop aroma. Fine in mouth, some biscuit. Quite sharpo in mouth with drying tangy hop. Very astringent hop finish

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 18, 2005
Cask (handpump) at the Brew Wharf, Southwark. An amber coloured beer. I had hoped that a new brew pub in a distinctly non-traditional style might try something a little more adventurous than a traditional English style session and best bitter for its first brews. And I don’t think they have got it quite right yet. For a start, this was served too cold. Despite that, a very promising resinous hop character managed to escape into the aroma. However, on the palate, it was also very hoppy - in a hop juice sort of way - without much else to back that up or temper it. The body was a bit thin and the overall effect was a touch too astringent. There’s promise here, but it just doesn’t quite deliver the goods.
