Brewed with Maris Otter Pale, Melanoidin, Cara and 1% Rauch malts and Northern Brewer, EKG, Fuggles, Pioneer & Goldings hops then oaked in FV.

On tap at the Brew Pub. Clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Smooth palate, semi dry. Very mild carbonation. Light marmalade - mild bitterness. has soft edges. There is a sublte woodiness here but overall the barral aging seems to have smoothed things off more than impart loads of flavour. A sweeter orange comes to the fore before a semi dry biiter finish and aftertase. Nice drinkable IPA.
