COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed at BrewWharf, bottled at Kernel. This is a one-time-only beer, brewed prior to the closure of BrewWharf for the Americans, during the London Olympics 2012. Brewed from a trove of riches, aka, the hopstore, the beer included Columbus, Centennial, Simcoe and Citra hops, great coffee from Coleman Coffee, (in near by Borough)over great malts from all over the place. We even added some lactose for good measure. If you’re looking for a something rich to sit down too, this may be the one. Brewed to drink, selfishly, not to share in inches. It’s strong, black, smells of coffee and hops. We like it, we hope you do too... lots of love, Angelo and Phil.

Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2013
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a pitch black with a small light brown head. Greasy British hops dominate the aroma (which is odd since the hop bill seems to be all American! - the yeast then? - smelly feet style - atop some subtle roast. Rich body, lowish carbonation, sweet hard roast and ashes with some dark, dried fruits and even some coffee notes chiming in late. Roasty subtle bitterness. 250313
