Comments: Same hop profile than their bitter, highly citrusy, but far less tartness here and more expressive toasty, caramelly malts.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thebeertourist (4060) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Amber colour (rather light for the style) with a small head. Good citrussy hop aroma, almost like an English bitter. Toffee, quite bitter, dry mouthfeel. Good citrussy hoppiness. Light-bodied. Said to be a beer in the Altbier-style, though t is probably just as close to a bitter. A highly drinkable beer, anyway.
