(6/18/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Berlin. On the tap it said "Rote Weisse" but the waiter called it "Grapefruit Weisse". Cloudy orange. A quite strange aroma with grapefruit and candies and some wheat hints. Sweet flavor with candi-sugar and some grapefruit, finishes with a bit of hops and grapefruit and light wheaty tartness. Medium-bodied. Not bad.

Draught at the brewpub. Very refreshing, the bitterness of the grapefruit playing with the light wheat beer. Smooth, easy drinking, a fine summer beer. Far better than most novelties.

Cloudy orange color, small white head. Sweet and grapefruit scent. Sweet and slight acidic grapefruit taste, some herbal hops in the back. Thin a bit flat mouthfeel, grape and apricot aftertaste. Low bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange with a small white head. Strong grapefruit aroma with some faint estery and phenolic notes in the background. Light to medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Sour and very bitter. Too much grapefruit.
