75cl bottle, bottled 12/2011, courtesy of and shared with Tomaz. I love Brewbaker, but this copperish beer did not last long before turning into a nasty undrinkable literally muddy yeast mess. By 1/2 bottle, the yeast had taken over the whole experience. Gingerbread still noticeable but the yeast ruined my experience. At 7€50 the bottle, we poured half of it in the sink and this is what my score reflects. Cuivre brumeuse, le tut se transformant en une sorte de boue de levure vers mi bouteille. Le col est pétillant ocre. Arôme est un régal pour une bière d’hiver rendant très bien le profile de pain d’épice, le tout sur un léger citronné. En bouche, pain d’épice bien là. Malheureusement, le tout est ici ruiné par cette levure boueuse qui gâche toute l’expérience vers mi-bouteille. Note d’épice; cannelle, muscade, voire de fruits noire; cerise. Très instable au fini et une levure qui ruine l’expérience, dommage.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity spicy ginger aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty ginger flavor with weak sour notes. Has a fruity malty spicy gingerbread finish with hints of caramel.

Bottle. Mahagony with an off white head. Aroma of spice ginger with a raspberry dominant nose. Flavour is tangy spice, fruitcake with a bittersweet base. Treacly mouthfeel, does taste a bit like Christmas.
